"NCStudio is a thin client, server based Java ILDE. NCStudio differs from its competition in terms of its Architecture, Comprehensiveness and Speed.
ARCHITECTURE NCStudio changes the paradigm of development from the desktop to the server. NCStudio has a server-centric architecture. All the functionality and code is on the server. No installation is required on the desktop. NCStudio’s architecture reduces the administration and maintenance costs and enhances development flexibility. Simultaneous development on the same set of code is possible from geographically dispersed locations. This is a huge plus for offshore development.
COMPREHENSIVENESS NCStudio is a comprehensive development environment. Version control, requirements gathering, DB access tools, modeling and other features are in-built into the product. Fewer 3rd party tools are required reducing license costs, integration costs, and improving developer productivity.
SPEED NCStudio is extremely lightweight and fast. NCStudio takes up space only on the server and that too less than 200MB. NCStudio requires only 256MB RAM on the desktop and 512MB RAM on the server. Developer productivity improves substantially when NCStudio is used.

The development approach is very unique. We have received a patent for the architecture. Usually all development tools have to be installed on every developer's desktop. However NCStudio needs to be installed only on the server and developer's access it either over the LAN / over the Internet and develop Java applications.
