(Photos/pics for this travelogue might be available on My Tourism Photo Album) On this day,
I went to a nearby hill station 65 kms from Bangalore, called Nandi Hills.
This was my fifth consecutive weekend that I went on an outing (1/2days).
The weather was just perfect and the place superb. It is a fort of Tipu
Sultan at a sea level of 1478 meters (Bangalore is at aprox 900 meters
and Saharanpur, my home town at approx 225 meters). Also, there was
a 300 meters high steep (straight face actually), from where the prisoners
of Tipu Sultan were thrown into the valley. It was scary, to say the least.
