Pearl Valley (Muthyala Maduvu aka Muthyalamaduvu )
(Photos/pics
for this travelogue might be available on My
Tourism Photo Album)
I went on a
trek 35kms from Bangalore. Its known as Pearl Valley (Muthyala Maduvu
aka
Muthyalamaduvu).
It is a beautiful sight with two waterfalls there and lots of verdant scenic
beauty. There is a KSTDC's bar and restaurant and nothing else. (But
that is all is needed for people like me!). Actually, Pearl Valley
is the name of a private resort coming up near this valley.

'04: visited Pearl Valley again
Jan 14, '05: Visited Pearly Valley once
again. This time with Gaurav and Mini, my colleagues. It was so much fun. Just
going to KSTDC restaurant and sipping beer. Road (Bannerghatta Road and Anekal
to Pearl Valley) though is horrible. Just a bit about how to reach Pearl valley:
Take Bannerghatta Road. Ultimately you'd reach a road triangle, where the
straight road would take you the Bannerghatta National Park, the right turn
would lead you to the Swarnamukhi falls (and to Kanakpura Road). Here, you take
the left turn which will take you to Anekal. At Anekal's main sqaure (chowk),
take a right turn and then after 4-5 kms of passing Anekal, you'd see some
boards hawking some resorts etc on to your right. Thats the road to your entry
to Pearl Valley.
